Crane Game Girls

So this anime has a weird premise, there is a cloud of asteroids that are heading towards earth and they only people who can save the world are 3 kids who want to become idols. So under the pretense of scouting them the crane organization tells them that they will help them become idols. However they train them to play crane games, under the pretense that all top idols are good at crane games… and they just go along with it. Oh and when they all manage to do the same ‘technique’ while playing the crane game at the same times it destroys or moves some asteroids… I must say this may be one of the weirder animes.

I’m not a fan of the art style, it’s not fluid at all and very choppy. Also the characters are drawn too angular with thick lines. Not the prettiest animation, but if you can get over it there is an interesting story in this short anime.

Flying Witch

This anime seems to follow Makoto Kowata, a young witch, as she moves in with her cousin Kei and starts going to his high school. From the first episode it looks like it’s going to be a really quirky slice of life anime. Makoto is a little of a flake who is horrible with directions so she is always being lead around her new town as to not get lost.

I’m actually really excited about this anime, I think it’s going to be a fun little anime to watch.

Haven’t you Heard? I’m Sakamoto

I have 2 words for this show. Absolutely Ridiculous. This slice-of-life anime follows Sakamoto-kun, he’s the school’s prince basically. He is cool, stylish, smart and good at sports. All of the girl love him and a lot of the boys respect him, however there is a small factions of guys who dislike him and try to trap him with pranks to make him look ridiculous. Though no matter what they try he keeps coming out of it looking even better than before

This anime isn’t really something you want if you want a clear story line, or an actual point. Though it is hilarious and I had to pause it a few times because I was laughing so hard I couldn’t read the subtitles.

High School Fleet

So I seem to be hitting really weird animes, or at least what I would consider strange. This anime follows Akeno during her adventure of becoming a blue mermaid, which is basically an all female navy fleet. She becomes the captain of her ship and she must grow and help her crew mates succeed.

It almost watches like a slice of life anime in high school, if high school was on a ship and everyone was learning to be sailors. I’m not sure how I feel about this anime, only time will tell.
