Pan de Peace!

This anime is a slice of life anime based in high school. This anime follows Minami Tani, who is a huge fan of bread (or Pan as it’s called in japanese hence the title). She enters a new class where she doesn’t know anybody so she befriends some girl in her class because of a pin with different types of breads on it.

This is a short anime, and it looks like it’s going to be a fun watch. All of the characters are super bubbly and happy and since each episode is only 3 mins a piece it’s easy to fit them into your schedule.

Shonen Ashiba Go! Go! Goma-chan

This anime follows Ashiba, a boy, and Goma-chan, a spotted seal puppy, and their adventures. The animation is very soft and almost reminds me of the french cartoon Caillou. You can almost call this anime a slice of life anime about Ashiba, however with only 18 minutes of animation it’s a little hard to tell. I feel like this anime is best suited for a much younger audience than little old me.

Super Lovers

I find this anime very cute, though a little weird. Kaidou Haru, a high school student, flies to Canada to see his mother over summer break after hearing news that she was ill. He meets Ren, who Haruko took in and then introduces him as Haru’s younger brother. Over the summer they get along very well and then Haru has to go back home to Japan and they don’t meet again until 5 years later.

It’s a cutsy Slice-of-life anime that gives you a heartwarming feeling during the first episode. The synopsis did say that something goes wrong and they can’t meet up again until 5 years later but I still have high hopes for this anime.

Tanaka-kun is Always Listless

I have been a fan of this manga for a while, so I’m happy that it now has an anime. The main character Tanaka-kun goes to extreme lengths to be listless and lazy. He has his best friend Ohta is kind of his caregiver, he makes sure that Tanaka gets to class on time and even drags him to the dentist if he has too. This is a slice of life anime with no plot, however you do get to enjoy Tanaka’s weird personality and Ohta’s dotting father figure throughout the anime.
