I’m going to warn you right now that this drama is a tear jerker and if you’re not looking for a good cry then this is not the show for you. I love this drama, but I did manage to spend most of the time cuddling my tissue box.

This drama follows Sawada Takuto (Miura Haruma) a normal college student who is struggling to find full-time employment after he finishes school. He is soon diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and it suddenly turns his world upside down. He decides that he won’t let his diagnosis stop him from enjoying life.So the tears come, not only from the diagnosis but the romantic aspect throughout the drama.

So the tears come, not only from the diagnosis but the romantic aspect throughout the drama. I don’t know anyone who has ALS so I can’t discuss if the depiction of the symptoms is accurate, but I know that it does shed light on how drastically a person’s life changes after the diagnosis. It also shows people that life isn’t over just because you get diagnose with ALS. I think that this drama is a good string board to talk about ALS and it’s side effects.

I have only ever seen Miura Haruma in the Last Cinderella and his acting in this is just as good.  Like I said before, I loved the drama but t’s not for people who don’t want to cry.
