Third Grave Dead Ahead (Charley Davidson #3)

Standard

After forcing Reyes back into his body to save his life, Charley must live with the consequences. Every time she closes her eyes, she drags Reyes to her and she gets very little sleep and thus has forced herself to stay awake. Meanwhile, she has a missing wife, a not too forthcoming ghost and an escaped convicted felon. What’s a girl to do? Well, try and work on two of the three problems while ingesting a stupid amount of coffee.

Without going into too much detail in this review though I really want to. Reyes manages to screw Charley over hardcore in this book. Last book, her father threw her under the bus, so, naturally, it’s Reye’s turn. While looking into the survival of Reye’s father after he was ‘murdered’ by Reyes leads her straight to danger, but hey she’s the grim reapers. She’s the only person who has access to certain information. Though I think the funniest parts are when she gets into trouble for being sleeping deprived. I liked this book. It was a good addition to the series though I feel like there is a need for Jones to stop having people using Charley as bait it’s getting old, fast.

3.5/5
