This drama took me a while to finish watching because I couldn’t relate to Ko Dok Mi (Park Shin Hye).
We follow Ko Dok Mi’s story. She is a reserved, introverted person, who due to an occurrence in her past makes her fear interacting with other people. She has a crush on the man who lives in the building across from her, Han Tae Joon (Kim Jung San). One day she gets caught by his younger brother, Enrique Keum (Yoon Si Yoon), while taking a peek into his window from across the street. Enrique and Dok Mi start to have a strained relationship while Dok Mi’s next door neighbour, On Jin Rak (Kim Ji Hoon), silently watched on while his feelings for Dok Mi.
This is a slow drama, so don’t expect a quick start. It’s interesting enough, however, I don’t believe that Enrique’s method would necessarily get Dok Mi out of her apartment. I do enjoy the character of Enrique, however. He is fun and energetic while also being very deep at the same time. It’s worth a watch but I would say that you really have to push through the first 6 episodes.
