Peach Cobbler Murder (Hannah Swensen, #7)

After Shawna Lee and her sister Vanessa come back to Eden lake, the open a bakery right across from the cookie jar. It starts cutting into her bottom line, that is until Shawna Lee’s murder in her bakery. Hannah happens to find her after she returned from Lisa and Herb’s wedding. She ends up being a suspect in her murder. Hannah must put back on her detective’s hat to clear herself and find Shawna Lee’s real killer.

I have to admit that the ending kinda floored me, but enough on that. This book was very interesting. As a few other ones, as there was a movie made of this I had to wipe it from my minds. Shawna Lee being the victim gives more of connection to the character than in the movie. I loved the fact that Lisa comes back to help her at the cookie jar while she finds out who killed Shawna Lee.

The relationships between the 2 men are a little flat and dry, which is probably why the ending came out of no where. I would love if the character development with the men was expanded a little more.

Over all this is an awesome book.
