The golf course is having a little charity fundraiser and invited Sonja to cater to them. Though she is hesitant at first, though when he attends the deal to let her father play for free, she can’t help but say yes. Everything seems to be going well until the chairman is found dead in a lake. Sonja and her father work together to figure out who would want to kill the chairman, and who are the ghosts haunting the putting green.

This book was really fun, mainly because we got to see Sam again. Though he was missing for so long, he has integrated back into the family.  You can still feel the tension between Sonja and Sam, however, they seem to be working out their differences. It was nice to see them working together in this book. It really developed Sam more as a character and allowed us to get to know him.

Though the mystery was a little interesting, I enjoyed the background to the murder more. It not only gave us more background to the family of three murderers. I found that the added history was really nice.  I’d say about 1/2 through I knew who the murderer was however, it was interesting how Hunter used the character for the rest of the book.

Overall, it was a really fun book.

I enjoyed this book, but mainly for the world and character building.
