Jamie Quinn is dragged into another headache again. When the wife of one of the biggest lawyers comes into her office, she is stunned.  Jamie is certain who this woman needs is a larger firm. Meanwhile, her next-door neighbour asks her to look into the legal entity of the owner for the plane that crashed and killed her sister.  Jamie has a whole lot on her plate, and the fun is only starting.

I enjoyed this book. I’ve mentioned this in a previous review, however, it still holds true, I really enjoy that the main character is a lawyer.  The concept of a cozy mystery makes a lot more sense since the main character has a firm understanding of the legal system. I still don’t think that the privacy laws are being upheld, and I really wish they were.

I enjoy how Jamie’s personal life was flipped on its side this book.  We got to see her deal with boyfriend and befriend issues. Even Duke was wearing on her last nerve through this book. The dynamic of the relationships were definitely tested this book and this tension actually made the characters a little more real. Duke finally did something that I was expecting for the longest time, which made it comical as well as add to the plot.

The storyline was really interesting and I enjoyed how the seemingly 2 plots mingled together. The chance to get to see how it all unfolds was really interesting. I had a little hint early on, but it was still nice to see how the author knitted it together.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book.
