After the museum opened in Hillside, the curator is found dead in his office. With the golden egg missing and the curator dead, it seems that the murder was the result of the theft. With one greedy murder, Heather has even more on her plate when her new assistant happens to be in the middle.

This is a slightly more depressing book then the others. We get to meet Emily who will be now working at Donut delight and though she has a tough background, I feel like the character will fit in well with the rest of the staff. We almost got through the full book without Lawless, I really dislike that guy. I wish that he would either get used more and better or just disappear. He is a useless that should just be forgotten.

I enjoyed the 2 simulations that happened in parallel, however, the ending is a little sad. This book shows that there isn’t always happy endings when you find out who is the murderer. Like in life, this book wasn’t black and white, but I enjoyed it.

When dropping off doughnuts at the Kenny estate. They didn’t expect that at her departure Amy and she would stumble upon Mrs Kenny dead on the bad patio. Heather is determined to find out who killed her, though she finds out that she wasn’t exactly the most loved person in Hillside.

Ok… this book was a little far reaching, but the plot made sense. This series would have made more sense though if it was different cities because with the increase in the murder rate everyone is going to run away from Hillside. A socialite as the victim should have had more suspects in the case than it did, but with such a short book it would have been difficult to add more. I found that the murderer was a little easy to figure out, however, it was an interesting little twist.

I still enjoyed this book, however, Hannah better hire more people for the store to keep it running.

This anime is based on a short running manga but the same name. The manga series and the anime series is complete so we can’t go hoping for more. This anime does deal with death, suicide and suicidal thoughts, so if these things trigger you I would suggest not watching this anime. This is also a slice-of-life romance comedy and it does it well while incorporating a little time travel.

So in the anime Takamiya Naho, a high school girl who gets a mysterious letter on the first day of school but brushes it off as a joke. When things happening she starts to believe it and starts to work hard on saving Naruse Kakeru’s life. The letter tells Naho that Kakeru died in an accident but they find out later that he had actually committed suicide. Naho makes it her life’s mission to save Kakeru, all the while falling in love with him.

This is a really good manga series. I will warn you if you’ve read the manga this anime is such a recreation that you will experience Déja-vu while watching this. It’s animation is perfect for the anime, even though there isn’t anything fancy about it. I would say it is worth a watch.

Ok… So I might have taken a look at Yamazaki Kento’s filmology page, but can you blame me. He has the perfect innocent face paired with mean acting skills that can pull off anything.

Orange follows a group of friends who welcome a new transferee, Naruse Kakeru (Yamazaki Kento), into their group. Before the entrance ceremony, Takamiya Naho (Tsuchiya Tao) receives a letter from her future self, telling her about everything that is about to happen. This is so that they can stop Kakeru from getting into an accident that costs his life.

The cinematography is excellent as is the acting. There is so much chemistry between the group of 6 friends as well as between the two leads. Normally this is where I complain that they condensed the story far too much but it couldn’t be helped. However, this time, I can’t complain. The story didn’t feel rushed at all and all the important information was covered. Watch this movie because it’s excellent.

The Morose Mononokean

This slice-of-life, supernatural, the comedy follows an exorcisms pair, Haruitsuki Abeno also known as Mononokean, and Hanae Ashiya, a normal high school boy. Abeno gots his nickname from his ability to work with demons and help them return to the underworld. With only the first episode out I can tell that this is going to be a good anime series. I can’t wait for more.

This is, by far, the anime that I am the most excited about this season. I have read the manga and loved it. This anime follows a group of friends, one of whom receives a letter from her future self in hopes to change the future. I’m not sure how far this series is going to go into the manga series, or if there will be more seasons. I love this manga series so much that I really hope that the stick to the story line.

B-Project

Welcome, to this season’s reverse harem, idol anime. After Gandala Music hires Tsubaki into the A&R department, she is sent to work with the b-project that is made up of 3 groups. Though she doesn’t have any musical background, she quickly makes herself handy being able to hear when music is out of place. Each of the 10 idols has very distinct personalities, and I can see it getting very messy very quickly. I am looking forward to the progression of this anime.

Momokuri

What happens when you’re a stalker, finally ask your stalker out, and they say yes. This anime! Yuki Kurihara finally asks her crush, Shinya Momotsuki, out. However because she has always been watching him from afar she has difficulty talking with him. This slice-of=life is a tad creepy due to her stalker tendencies, but it’s looking to be very funny and I’m looking forward to future episodes

So far, So good! I’m liking everything. There is one sports anime that I will watch the 1st episode but I don’t see myself wanting to watch it. Until next week!
