One More Happy Ending

This drama is the definition of a romantic comedy.  This series is 16 episodes long, and each runs about an hour. This drama is light and quirky, and filled with WTF situations that are normally fueled with alcohol.

The drama follows a group of 4 friends, Han Mi Mo (Jang Na Ra), Baek Da Jung (You Da In), Go Dong Mi (Yoo In Na) and Hong Ae Ran (Seo In Young), and their love lives. These women had all debut with an all-girl K-pop group, Angels, in the younger years but the group has since disbanded.  Though Han Mi Mo and Baek Da Jung are CEOs of a remarriage matchmaking company, both of them are not doing well in the romance department. Han Mi Mo was divorced 5 years before the series start, and breaks up with in the first episode, while Baek Da Jung is in a failing marriage. Go Dong Mi is a forever single elementary school teacher, while Hong Ae Ran is about to enter into a marriage that she’s not sure she wants to be in.

Now this drama has a couple of tropes that I love, we have the classic love triangle, the childhood friend, the con artist, and characters disappearing for an extended period of time. I can understand how some of these tropes can be over used and not something that some people like, however there are a few tropes I enjoy. They are all used properly and at the right times to really help the story move forward.

This drama is getting full marks, because not only is the acting on point, but the story is cute and the backgrounds are fantastic as well. Even though there are 4 different couples, you really get a feel for each of them. Though I was looking forward to every time I could see Song Soo Hyuk (Jung Kyoung Ho) because I fell in love with him.
